The Material Handler is responsible for the physical movement, mixing and drying of plastic resin materials. The Material Handler role would work Monday-Thursday, 12PM-10PM and report to the Plant Manager.


Job Duties

    Stage production orders and complete corresponding transactions in the computer.
    Prepare mix and dry resins as instructed.
    Collect finished goods and transport to shipping.
    Record lot numbers of raw plastic resins as needed.
    Put new inventory in a warehouse location and completed corresponding transactions in the computer.
    Maintain good housekeeping of warehouse.
    Cycle count inventory.
    Report inventory discrepancies.
    Keep work area clean.
    Identify, recommend and notify appropriate people of any quality system problems.
    Safely use all equipment supplied for the above tasks (forklifts, mixers, drying equipment and pallet jacks).
    Any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Education
 High School diploma or GED required

Experience
 General warehouse experience
 Previous experience in machining environment a plus

Knowledge
 Strong attention to detail
 Good math skills
 Forklift experience/ license preferred
 Computer skills

Physical Requirements
 Factory environment
 Be able to lift up to 55 pounds
