Specialty Manufacturing is looking for a proactive and ambitious candidate to join our team as a Material Handler! The Material Handler position reports directly to our Plant Manager and also partners with team members across other production areas.

Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Assist in coordinating the workflow including movement of parts.
  • Removal and disposal of chips from machines.
  • Material preparation organization.
  • Put new inventory in warehouse location and complete corresponding transactions into the computer.
  • Operate equipment to wash and clean production parts to specifications.
  • Responsibility for some equipment maintenance is required, including monitoring machine oil levels.
  • Basic cleaning and organizing.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • High School diploma or GED required 
  • Forklift experience/license a plus  
  • Must be able to read, write and have basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to maneuver/lift 50 pounds continuously 

Compensation and Benefits
Expected Compensation Range: Hourly, non-exempt- $18- $21
