The Maintenance Supervisor position will lead, plan, and implement all machine and facility maintenance activities throughout our White Bear Lake location This position will lead a team of internal maintenance technicians, liaison outside contractors/ vendors and ensure process and procedure adherence.

The Maintenance Supervisor position will lead, plan, and implement all machine and facility maintenance activities throughout our White Bear Lake location This position will lead a team of internal maintenance technicians, liaison outside contractors/ vendors and ensure process and procedure adherence.
Job Responsibilities
- Prioritize and assign daily jobs and work orders and provide a clear direction to maintenance employees. Oversee pass-down issues. Monitor activities to ensure an efficient and safe maintenance operation
- Work with inventory or supply employees to ensure an adequate inventory of spare parts and equipment.
- Remain current with latest and emerging industry regulations and codes relative to mechanical, building and safety requirements..
- Provide staff with the necessary training on existing and new equipment.
- Complete supervisory activities such as administering employee promotions and transfers; reviewing and editing employee timekeeping; completing performance evaluations; mentoring, training, and coaching employees.
- Ensure the maintenance technicians have a good understanding of work practices and procedures
- Supervise, coordinate, and contribute to daily mechanical and facility tasks
- Actively support and implement preventative maintenance programs; schedule and provide constant monitoring of the preventative maintenance program and make adjustments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- High school degree or GED required
- Two-year technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years experience in mechanical maintenance function.
- Minimum two years experience in a Lead or Supervisor role.
- Ability to trouble-shoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Previous experience operating a variety of maintenance tools, lathe, drill press, air tools, sweeper, lawn mower, forklifts, and drivable man-lift
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics
- Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures
- Working knowledge of fabrication, welding, and machining methods is a plus
- Strong written and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, ability to lead others through change
Compensation and Benefits
Expected Compensation Rate: $40-$45
